CRUTECH update on payment of surcharge fee

The management of UNICROSS has observed that students of the Calabar campus of the university have been going in large numbers to CRUTECH Microfinance bank and Heritage bank located in the campus to pay the three thousand naira surcharge that has been imposed on them following the destruction of the university's property.

Apparently, such students assume that bank drafts can only be obtained from only those two banks.

That assumption is wrong.

Consequently, it has become necessary to state as follows:

1. Bank drafts can be obtained from any bank, not necessarily from banks that are sited within the Calabar campus only.

2. The Vice-Chancellor of UNICROSS considers the stress that students are going through for payment of the surcharge and empathizes with them on this development.

Accordingly, he has directed that the deadline for payment of the surcharge is now Friday, July 2nd 2021 and no longer Friday, 25th June 2021.

He has further directed that no other extension will be granted after the expiration of this extended deadline.
